Buy NBCC; sell Voltas, ICICI Bank: Ashwani Gujral

Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com is of the view that one can buy NBCC and sell Voltas and ICICI Bank.

Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com told CNBC-TV18, "NBCC is a buy with a stop loss of Rs 260 and target of Rs 276. Voltas is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 625 and target of Rs 600. ICICI Bank is a sell with a stop loss of Rs 310 and target of Rs 295."

"Reliance Industries, Hindustan Unilever, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank are coming off, so it is not some retail selling. I think some institutions are taking the view that the market needs to go lower. So, even people who are in midcaps need to become cautious because if it continues, midcaps will get seriously hammered."

"Gas has a structural story, but what I understand is that Indraprastha Gas (IGL) is a better company. If one wants to hold on to Mahanagar Gas (MGL) maybe keep Rs 1,000 type of stop loss and at some point in the future maybe two years from now one will see Rs 1,500 but overall IGL is the outperformer here."

"Centrum Capital is not the best wealth manager, so maybe Edelweiss Financial, Motilal Oswal Financial Services to a lesser extent and JM Financial are better stocks. But it is in an uptrend, so keep Rs 72 type of stop loss and may be at some point we will see Rs 120 which could be a one year plus type of horizon," he added.
