Ananya Panday, known for her roles in Call Me Bae and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, among others, recently flew to Australia, where she attended a high-profile event in a glamorous gown that caught the internet’s attention.

The actress made a striking impression in a maxi dress. The black velvet bodice, featuring a plunging V-neck and a sleek matching bow, looked eye-catching. The gown’s lavender satin skirt, seamlessly attached to the blouse, gathered gracefully at the waist before cascading down softly. The thigh-high slit added a sultry touch, beautifully accentuating her silhouette.

Ananya accessorised with dainty gold jewellery and a contemporary beaded bracelet. Her makeup was dewy and radiant, complementing her straightened hair.  She captioned the look, "An evening in Melbourne.”

While her Melbourne look was Western, Ananya has been making waves with her saree styling as well. Earlier this year, she attended a wedding in a pastel pink chikankari saree adorned with intricate sequins and mirror work. However, it was her off-shoulder, deep-neck blouse—embellished with solid gold mirror work—that added an edgy twist to the traditional ensemble.

Elevating the look further, she paired it with a bold emerald necklace, matching earrings, and a bangle. Soft rose-pink flowers tucked into her bun and glossy makeup completed her appearance.

In January, Ananya showcased her experimental side in handwoven Anavila sarees. The first look featured a plaid linen saree reimagined as a one-shoulder blouse, paired with a metallic gold dhoti.
