Ananya Panday recreates Rekha’s Umrao Jaan look in a regal Anarkali suit

Ananya Panday attended the re-release of Muzaffar Ali’s Umrao Jaan, recreating Rekha’s iconic look from the film. The Gen Z star stole the show in a classic ivory Anarkali set, looking as splendid as ever.

Designed by Rohit Bal, Ananya’s Anarkali featured an opulent 12-circle flare that sat beautifully on her slender frame. The flowing silhouette, crafted from luxurious Chanderi net and chiffon, was adorned with resham embroidery, enhancing its beauty.

Her neckline deserves a special mention for adding a regal charm to the ensemble, along with the sheer pleated sleeves. The actress looked breathtaking, to say the least.

This time, Ananya ditched minimal aesthetics for a regal, glamorous look. She wore elaborate traditional earrings that elevated the outfit. Her luminous makeup — featuring flushed cheeks, gold highlighter, and a radiant rose lip colour — amplified her features.

Her hair was styled in a low bun adorned with a single rose, while a tiny bindi completed the look. Sharing the photos, Ananya wrote, “For Re aunty… swipe to see how nothing has changed… Umrao Jaan in theatres. Wearing @rohitbalofficial.”
