APSC Recruitment 2025: Registration Begins for ADO Posts; Apply by April 17

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has started accepting online applications for the Agricultural Development Officer (ADO) posts under the state's Agriculture Department. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply on the official websites apsc.nic.in or apscrecruitment.in by April 17, 2025. The last date to pay the application fee is April 19.

How to Apply for APSC ADO 2025?

1. Visit the official website apsc.nic.in
2. Find the recruitment notification under the “Recruitment Advertisements” section
3. Register using your email ID and mobile number to generate a registration ID and password
4. Log in and fill out the application form with personal, educational, and work experience details
5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, educational certificates, caste/category certificate (if applicable), and experience certificate (if required)
6. Pay the application fee online through debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking
7. Review the application form and submit it
8. Download and print a copy of the application form for future reference

APSC ADO Selection Process 2025

The selection process consists of two phases:

Written Examination – Candidates will be assessed through two papers:

• General Studies: Covers current events, Indian economy, constitution, geography, history, and science & technology.
• Agriculture: Includes topics like agronomy, soil science, plant pathology, entomology, animal husbandry, dairy science, agricultural economics, extension education, and soil & water conservation engineering.
