Bleeding gums when brushing or flossing: Bleeding gums aren’t normal. They’re usually an early sign of gingivitis, which, if left untreated, can escalate to periodontitis. Other factors, like vitamin deficiencies or aggressive brushing, may also contribute. A visit to the dentist can help pinpoint the cause and prevent further complications.
Tooth sensitivity to hot, cold, or sweets: Experiencing a sharp pain when eating ice cream or sipping hot coffee? Tooth sensitivity often signals enamel erosion, gum recession, or cavities. While desensitising toothpaste may help, a dentist can identify and address the root cause effectively.
