Kriti Sanon, who was busy with her sister Nupur’s wedding for the last few weeks, is back at the gym and taking fitness seriously. The actress shared her trainer Karan Sawhney’s post, where she can be seen doing an ab wheel rollout with full dedication.

The actress, who has one of the fittest bodies in the entertainment business, joked about her abs hiding behind the sweets she enjoyed at the wedding. She wrote, “Need to get those abs out of that mithai weight hiding them. Back to training.”

In the video shared by Karan, the actress is focused on sculpting her abs and pushing through the intense core workout. If you are not aware, ab wheel rollouts are excellent for building core strength, supporting better posture, and improving balance and stability.

Benefits of ab rollouts

For core strength

Those who aspire to have stronger core, ab rollouts help immensely, as they target multiple muscles together. They engage the rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, obliques, and lower back muscles. This makes it an efficient exercise for a strong and stable core.

Better posture

Good posture is a result of strong core muscles that support the spine. Thus, regular ab rollout training can help improve strength and maintain spinal alignment. Engaging the neck and shoulder also ensures proper form. This workout is overall beneficial for your health.

Strengthens shoulders

When you are rolling the wheel in and out, your shoulder muscles are heavily engaged. This makes them more stabilised and enhances upper body strength. It is an effective workout that helps perform everyday tasks with ease.

Improves balance and stability

Using an ab roller is effective for improving balance and stability, as it strengthens your core muscles. This helps maintain proper form and balance. When done regularly, it can improve alignment by stabilising muscles.

Reduces injury risk

With a strong core, the risk of injury significantly reduces. This is because, with a stable spine, there are fewer chances of twisting or bending. It makes you more resilient and stronger.
