Popular singer and rapper Badshah has reportedly received a direct death threat allegedly linked to the gang of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The threat surfaced through a social media post and is said to be connected to the controversy surrounding Badshah’s recent track Tateeree.

The alarming message emerged shortly after a firing incident was reported at a business establishment in Panipat. According to reports, the post appeared on Facebook and was attributed to gang members Randeep Malik and Anil Pandit. In the lengthy statement, the individuals claimed responsibility for the shooting and framed it as a warning aimed at people allegedly involved in financial activities they described as harmful to the country’s economy.

They wrote in the Facebook post, "Jai Mahakal, Jai Shri Ram. Regarding the firing incident that took place today at the office of Garry and Shanky, located on Assandh Road, Panipat, at the Western Union outlet (a hub for Hawala operations), it was orchestrated by me, RANDEEP MALIK and ANIL PANDIT (USA). This individual was damaging the nation's economy by siphoning the country's wealth abroad through the Hawala system. He operates this illicit Hawala business on a massive scale."

In the same message, the group asserted that the alleged target had previously been warned but had ignored their calls. The statement suggested that the attack was merely an initial signal and hinted at further action if their warning continued to be disregarded.

"We had issued him a warning via phone call, but he failed to heed it. This was merely a trailer; the full picture is yet to come. Furthermore, I warn everyone involved in Hawala operations: mend your ways while you still have the chance, or else the consequences for all of you will be dire," the statement continued.

The message also contained a direct threat aimed at Badshah. The gang accused the rapper of disrespecting Haryana’s culture and issued a chilling warning regarding future action.

"Note: To Singer Badshah, you who have attempted to tarnish the culture of Haryana: we showed you a trailer at your club back in 2024; this time, we will put a bullet straight through your forehead."

The post reportedly ended with the names of several individuals and groups believed to be associated with the criminal network, including factions linked to Sampat Nehra, Jitender Gogi Maan, and Kala Rana. The long list of signatories, ranging from figures such as Arzoo Bishnoi to regional operatives like Ashish Malik and Sahil Duhan, appeared intended to underline the broad alliance across multiple states.

The intimidation campaign is believed to have begun with the shooting at an office belonging to two individuals identified as Garry and Shanky on Asandh Road in Panipat. According to the statement shared online, the attackers accused the victims of running Western Union outlets allegedly connected to Hawala transactions.

Following the incident, law enforcement authorities in Haryana and neighbouring Punjab have heightened security and launched an investigation. Police officials are currently verifying the authenticity of the social media message and working to identify and trace the suspects involved in the firing in Panipat.
