Ankita Lokhande has been part of showbiz for a long time. The actress, who was recently seen in Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment as a contestant, shared in her new video on YouTube some of the health rituals she swears by for creating a positive mindset and a fitter body. Here’s a quick breakdown of her routine:

1) Drinking Saffron-Soaked Water And Speaking Words of Affirmations: Ankita begins her day by drinking water soaked overnight with saffron strands in a silver glass. She steps out into the balcony to directly face the sun and shares how she speaks words of affirmation as if they are already achieved. Being grateful is something she highly recommends.

2) Massaging Face With Ice Cubes: For good hair and skin, Ankita shows ice cubes made of flax seeds, mulethi, vitamin E capsules, aloe vera gel, and rice water. She shares that she massages her face with them daily. It hydrates the skin and gives it a glow.

3) Swapping Hardcore Gymming For Dancing: The actress then talks about how she maintains her body and energy with the help of dance instead of gym workouts.

She says, “You can find ten crore dance videos on YouTube, from where you can try Zumba or walking exercise at home. I try to do the same. While applying ice cubes, I get some movement in and get into the dance zone. It gives me a lot of joy and this is how your morning should start.”

The actress adds that 20-25 minutes of workout is enough for good health. She shares that she doesn’t want to lose weight, and this gives her happiness.

4) Dipping Face in Water Filled With Ice, Lemon Juice, and Cucumber Slices: Next, she dips her face in water filled not just with ice, but also lemon juice and cucumber slices. Ankita says, “It helps with skin tightening, slows down the thought process, and gives calmness. As soon as it reaches the nervous system, anxiety drops.” She repeats this multiple times.

5) Drinking Homemade Herbal Water: She then goes to make a herbal water — a concoction of fenugreek, fennel, cinnamon, garlic, aloe vera, triphala powder, brahmi, ashwagandha, Shilajit, amla powder, black seed oil, cow ghee, lemon, and soaked nuts. The actress lists all the health benefits of the ingredients.

6) Warm Drink at Night: The actress ends her day with a warm drink that combines  roasted and powdered cumin, fennel, and carom seeds. She adds, “Your bones need love too.” Besides this, the actress shows how she consumes nuts, vitamin C capsule to look after her overall well-being.
