Bollywood hitmaker Mika Singh, known for chartbusters like Mauja Hi Mauja, Dhinka Chika, Subha Hone Na De, and Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag, has often expressed his deep admiration for the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. A self-proclaimed fan, Mika has candidly shared stories of his attempts to sneak into Big B’s lavish Diwali celebrations at Jalsa.
In a past interview, the singer recalled a memorable encounter where Amitabh Bachchan offered him some thoughtful advice regarding his public appearances — a moment that left Mika feeling both humbled and slightly embarrassed, but also grateful for the superstar's candid wisdom.
Mika Singh talked candidly about an uncomfortable but memorable moment involving Amitabh Bachchan on the Shubhankar Mishra podcast. The singer revealed that, in an attempt to partake in the lavish celebrations, he once broke into Big B's Diwali party without an invitation.
The move wasn't overlooked, though. When the legendary actor gave him some subtle but incisive advice about showing up without an invitation, Mika recalled feeling embarrassed. The experience had a lasting effect on him. "I had a big car, and the guards must have opened the gates because they thought I was a big star."
"I drove the car around for two to three times, and then he told me to come into his house rather than doing this. I felt rather embarrassed after that," he continued.
The singer described how the presence of so many well-known celebrities left him utterly star-struck after he finally made it inside the party. He was in awe of the glitzy and iconic atmosphere, which made the experience both overwhelming and unforgettable.
He further said, “I went into the house, and big stars were all standing around waiting to meet him. "Mr Ambani and Sachin Tendulkar were standing around him, and I felt out of place, so I started moving away. That is when he addressed me in front of everyone and told me to wait. He didn’t need to do that, but he made me wait so that I could meet everyone."
Earlier once during his interview with Lallantop, Mika Sing had shared a funny incident when his brother, singer Daler Mehndi pulled a prank on him and called a number pretending it to be Amitabh Bachchan's number and told him that his brother Mika wanted to talk to him. "Mr. Bachchan, here, my brother Mika wants to talk to you," he said over the call.

Mika, in all his respect, had stood up and started conversing with the "real" Bachchan over call, only to later realize the trick and that he was talking to some fake Amitabh Bachchan.
Mika also revealed that he stopped sending messages after becoming discouraged by Bachchan's lack to reply to his invitations. However, he was taken aback when Big B called him over one day during a shoot. Bachchan mentioned that he always looked forward to Mika's messages and enquired as to why he had stopped sending them. Mika's respect and admiration for the legendary actor were only strengthened by this small act of kindness.
