In the image, Vikas can be seen sitting beside his mother, wearing a green kurta and white pyjama, while she arranges an aarti thali, symbolizing the significance of motherhood and cultural values in their lives. His caption, "HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY... ️️ MOM LOVE YOU," along with heart emojis, spoke volumes about his deep bond with his mother. The post also included the song "Mumma" sung by Kailash Kher which resonated with his followers, further enhancing the emotional depth of the tribute.

Vikas Sethi’s Final Moments and the Cause of His Death

According to reports, Vikas was attending a family function in Nashik with his wife, Jhanvi Sethi when tragedy struck. As per Jhanvi, Vikas had been feeling unwell, experiencing vomiting and loose motions. Despite his condition, he refused to go to the hospital, a decision that sadly proved fatal. After seeking advice from a doctor, they decided to keep him at home and arranged for medical care.

Tragically, Vikas passed away in his sleep due to a cardiac arrest during the early hours of Sunday morning. His wife recalled, "When I went to wake him up at around 6 am, he was no more. The doctor there told us he passed away last night in his sleep due to cardiac arrest."

His sudden death at such a young age, when he was still actively working in television, left his family and the industry in shock.

His mortal remains were sent to Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital for a postmortem, and his last rites were to be performed in Mumbai on Monday. Vikas Sethi is survived by his wife and their twin sons, who now face a future without their beloved father.

Vikas Sethi was not only a familiar face on Indian television but also a celebrated one. He had earned recognition for his roles in popular shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi where his portrayal of Karan "Kookoo" left a lasting impression.
