Varun Dhawan shares his formula for a 'happy marriage' , says, "I love my wife more than I love myself..."

Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal are widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s most adored couples. In a recent interview, the Baby John actor opened up about his strong and healthy relationship with Natasha, sharing that they have an open and honest dynamic.

In the conversation, he also revealed that they even talk about "pretty girls," showcasing the comfort and trust they share in their marriage. Varun emphasized how they maintain a lighthearted yet supportive connection, where communication and mutual respect remain key elements of their relationship.

In a conversation with Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube Channel, Varun shared that his wife, Natasha, has never felt insecure about his profession. He explained how they maintain open communication, with him sharing his thoughts and feelings candidly with her, ensuring they stay connected and understanding in their relationship.

When asked if his wife ever questioned him, Varun Dhawan responded, "No, She doesn’t care. She knows how I am, she knows me inside out. Usko pata hai ghar hi aane vala hai laut ke [She knows I am going to come back home] and I am like that. I don’t have much interest. I will talk to someone nicely and will have fun with them but that’s it. I am not interested there more than that. But I think this equation between husband and wife is necessary. You can lie that after marriage you don’t even look at anyone else. But I discuss it with my wife, I tell her, ‘This girl is so pretty, don’t you think?’ This much dialogue you have to have with your wife."

Varun Dhawan also shared his thoughts on a happy marriage, stating, "I don’t know the formula for a happy marriage, but I love my wife more than I love myself, and that’s why I married her. I think she’s a better human being than me. I learn a lot from her. That is the truth."

Varun Dhawan married his longtime girlfriend Natasha Dalal in 2021. The couple became parents this year, welcoming their baby daughter in June.

Varun Dhawan's latest release, Baby John, a remake of Atlee’s Theri, has received a mixed response from audiences. The actor will next be seen in the romantic drama Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. The film also features Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi in significant roles. It is set to hit theatres on April 18, 2025.
