Fans have recently been introduced to betaal, which resemble vampires, in Thamma, the most recent instalment in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal are among the actors who starred in the horror comedy, which was released on October 21.
Additionally, Varun Dhawan reprised his werewolf role from Bhediya (2022), and the plot also hinted at the plot of Bhediya 2, the next movie in the series.
In Thamma, Khurrana's betaal Alok battles Dhawan's werewolf character Bhaskar. After being hurt in the last battle against Sarkata in Stree 2, Bhaskar no longer has the ability to transform into a werewolf, according to Jana, played by Abhishek Banerjee.
He requires betaal blood to regain his strength, which increases his power and results in a fierce battle scene.
Thamma's climax suggests that Khurrana might play a significant part in Bhediya 2.
Before hunting Yakshasan (Siddiqui), a member of the Betaal sect, suggests that Alok needs werewolf blood; Sarkata saves Yakshasan. This could lead to an interesting premise for the upcoming monster comedy where Dhawan and Khurrana's characters may face off against each other.

Meanwhile, Bhediya 2 also had a cameo in Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's starrer Stree 2.
Bhediya 2 is expected to hit the theatres in August 2026.
