Recently eliminated Bigg Boss 19 participant Zeishan Quadri criticised Malti Chahar's actions. Malti, according to the Gangs of Wasseypur actor, played a cheap game on the show.
When Malti questioned Amaal Mallik, another contestant, about Baseer Ali's sexual orientation in an interview with Telly Talk India, he said, “Questioning someone's sexual orientation or personal life is totally wrong.”
Zeishan said, “I saw the episode where Malti asked Amaal if Baseer is straight or not. She could have asked this in the first week itself. I think Malti was more shocked after realising that Baseer is also a part of our group. He is like my younger brother. I feel that if I was in there, she would not have asked this question, and if she did, she would have to bear the repercussions of the same face-to-face at that time itself."
Zeishan elaborated, “What do you have to do with knowing about Baseer? Are you a “bicholi” (intermediator)? Are you going to take his marriage proposal, and are you going to earn commission? It’s best that you mind your own business. What do you have to do with his sexuality? Do you want to have an affair with him?”
He added that he didn't enjoy the game at all and thought it was all very cheap. In addition to Zeishan, numerous show viewers took to social media to denounce Malti's actions. Questioning someone's sexual orientation or bringing it up for public discussion is inappropriate, according to some, especially when it's on a platform like a reality show with millions of viewers.
Moneycontrol recently reported that this week’s elimination process will have Baseer and Nehal evicted. There are also reports that Baseer might be sent to the secret room; however, there is no confirmation on the same.
