Navjot Singh Sidhu has been a significant part of Kapil Sharma’s career, having been part of his journey since Kapil first came into the limelight as a contestant on a reality show. The bond between Sidhu and Kapil dates back to 2007, and their camaraderie has been a defining feature of Kapil’s shows over the years. On the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil SHow, Sidhu made a grand re-entry, much to the delight of the audience.

Sidhu was an integral part of Kapil’s show for many years but exited in 2019. His return to the stage was met with excitement and nostalgia, as the audience welcomed him with loud cheers. During the episode, Kapil asked Sidhu if he would consider rejoining the cast for the next season. Sidhu responded with a condition that seemed to have everyone on board.

Expressing his love for Sidhu, Kapil reminisced about the old days. Sidhu, in turn, compared the show to a beautiful bouquet, saying, “God created it, it’s a bouquet. It’s got a wonderful fragrance, every flower has a unique fragrance.” He added, “Before I die, I wish to see all these flowers together again, along with Archana. I really do.” Reacting to this, Kapil humorously replied, “All the flowers you mentioned are here except for our flower pot. You are our flower pot. You should return next season.”

Kapil then turned to the audience, asking if they wanted to see Sidhu back on the show. The audience's enthusiastic response indicated their approval. Sidhu then laid down his condition for returning: Archana Puran Singh must remain a part of the show. “I will come back when she is sitting next to me,” he declared.

Sidhu has a long connection with Kapil Sharma’s shows. He was one of the judges on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge when Kapil first gained fame. Sidhu then became a part of Kapil’s comedy show on Colors in 2013 and later moved with him to Sony. However, in 2019, Sidhu was replaced by Archana Puran Singh following his controversial comments on the Pulwama attack.

In a recent interview on The Grain Talk Show’s YouTube channel, Sidhu explained his departure from Kapil’s show, citing “political reasons” and other unspecified factors. He expressed his desire to see the original cast reunite, stating, “There were political reasons I don’t want to talk about. There were other reasons… and the bouquet fell apart. I have a wish that that bouquet must get together again, the way it was. I will be the first to facilitate. His show is still doing very well. Kapil is a genius.”
