Ahead of his much-anticipated concert at the Mahalakshmi Race Course on March 8, the Señorita hitmaker was spotted exploring the city, much to the delight of his Indian fans.

Viral pictures and videos show Mendes taking a leisurely stroll in Mumbai’s Colaba market, where he was seen shopping for ‘chappals’ (sandals). Dressed casually in a white vest and ochre-yellow trousers, the singer’s laid-back look caught the attention of fans online. Social media was soon flooded with reactions, with one user humorously dubbing it “Shawn Mendes in his chappal era.” Another joked about his attire, asking, “Why is he wearing a banyan on the road?”
