Amidst the ongoing speculation following Yuzvendra Chahal's divorce from Dhanashree Verma, rumours have emerged linking the cricketer to RJ Mahvash. The two have been frequently spotted together at various events, leading netizens to speculate that Mahvash might be in a relationship with Chahal.
However, the radio personality has now set the record straight, clarifying that she is currently single and not involved with Chahal.
In an interview with Yuvaa, RJ Mahvash addressed the rumours, stating, "I’m very single and happy. I don’t understand the current concept of marriage, and I am someone who would only date someone when I want to marry that person, so I don’t go out on casual dates. Just like Ali in Dhoom, I start imagining kids and the future."
The rumours gained further traction after Mahvash shared a cryptic Instagram video that caught the attention of fans. In the video, she says, “Koi ladka aayega toh wo hoga bas ek… wohi friend hoga, wohi best friend hoga, wohi boyfriend hoga, wohi husband hoga…" She captioned the reel with the phrase, “Bas ek hi hoga,” which many perceived as a subtle hint about her relationship status.
The video, combined with her previous appearance with Chahal at the ICC Champions Trophy final in Dubai, fueled further speculation.
Chahal’s personal life continues to attract attention following his high-profile divorce from Dhanashree Verma.
The split, officially settled with Chahal agreeing to pay Rs 4.75 crore in alimony, has been subject to much scrutiny. Dhanashree’s recent music video reportedly hints at infidelity, and Chahal has been spotted wearing a T-shirt with the slogan, “Be your own sugar daddy,” which many have interpreted as a response to his ex-wife.
Although neither party has openly discussed the reasons for their divorce, entertainment journalist Vickey Lalwani revealed that the main issue was a difference of opinion about their living arrangements.
After their wedding in December 2020, Dhanashree and Chahal moved to Haryana to live with his parents. However, Dhanashree reportedly expressed a desire to move back to Mumbai soon after, which allegedly led to tensions between the couple.
