The details of the attack are chilling. Saif Ali Khan was stabbed six times by an intruder who broke into his Mumbai home. The assailant scaled the wall of an adjacent compound and entered Saif's residence through the fire escape. Once inside, the intruder confronted the actor’s younger son Jeh's nanny, Eliyama Philip, who had spotted him at around 2 am. When she tried to confront the man, he demanded Rs 1 crore and injured her while attempting to flee. The situation escalated quickly, with Saif Ali Khan confronting the attacker, resulting in the actor being stabbed multiple times. Thankfully, Saif was able to overpower the assailant with the help of his staff, and the intruder was subsequently locked in a room until police arrived.

The hospital reported that Saif Ali Khan underwent successful treatment for his injuries. He was stabbed in the spine, which required immediate medical intervention to repair leaking spinal fluid. He also suffered two deep wounds on his neck and hands, which were treated with plastic surgery. Fortunately, the actor is now stable and recovering well, according to a media briefing from Lilavati Hospital.

The Crime Branch and local police have launched an investigation into the incident. They have identified a suspect and are piecing together the details of the attack. CCTV footage has revealed that the intruder was captured fleeing the premises on the sixth floor but was not seen in the building’s lobby, suggesting he may have used the fire shaft to escape.
