Actors Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are mourning the death of their grandmother, Allu Kanakaratnam. The actors have arrived at producer-uncle Allu Aravind's home to pay their last respects to their late grandmother.

Several paparazzi videos of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun’s visit are going viral on social media. The video captured the visibly devastated Allu Arjun as he entered the residence.

However, another video showed Ram consoling cousin Arjun with a hug before heading inside the house.

Allu Kanakaratnam's passing has been mourned by the Telugu film industry. Actor Chiranjeevi also paid tribute to his mother-in-law on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.

Chiranjeevi tweeted, “Our mother-in-law.. The demise of Kanakarathnamma Garu, wife of Sri Allu Ramalingayya Garu, is extremely heartbreaking. The love, courage, and life values she showed to our families will forever be an inspiration to us. I pray to God that their sacred soul attains peace. Om Shanti.”

On Sunday, Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu, who are in Vizag for a public meeting, will travel to Hyderabad to offer their condolences. The 94-year-old passed away at 1:45 AM on Saturday as a result of age-related illnesses.

For the unversed, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan are first cousins. Allu Arjun's father, Allu Aravind, has a sister named Surekha, who is also Ram Charan's mother and Chiranjeevi's wife. They thus belong to the well-known Allu-Konidela family in Telugu cinema.

Soon after learning of his grandmother's passing, Ram Charan decided to postpone the filming of his movie Peddi.
