The highly anticipated film Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu and featuring a cameo by pan-India superstar Prabhas, has been making headlines even before its release. Recently, a significant leak has caused quite a stir among fans and the production team. Prabhas' look from the film was leaked on social media, and that prompted a strong response from the production house, 24 Frames Factory.

Prabhas, known for his roles in blockbuster films like Baahubali and Saaho, is set to appear in a special role in Kannappa. However, the excitement surrounding his cameo was dampened when an image of his look was leaked on X (formerly known as Twitter). This unauthorised leak has not only disappointed fans but also angered the production team, who have been diligently working on the film for years.

In response to the leak, 24 Frames Factory issued a public statement expressing their dismay. They emphasised the dedication and hard work that has gone into the making of Kannappa over the past eight years. "After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorisation," the statement read.

The production house is taking the leak very seriously and is determined to find the culprit. They have offered a substantial reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone who can provide information leading to the identification and apprehension of the person responsible for the leak. "We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak," they stated.

They also urged fans not to circulate the leaked image, warning that doing so could result in legal consequences. "We urge you not to share this leaked image/footage as doing so will make individuals liable for legal action. Anyone with information that can help us trace the origin of this leak will be rewarded with Rs 5,00,000. Please send any leads directly to the official 24 Frames Factory Twitter account," the statement continued.

Kannappa is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and revolves around the story of a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Akshay Kumar makes his debut in Telugu cinema with this film. Besides Prabhas' cameo, the movie boasts a stellar cast, including Vishnu Manchu, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan, and Madhoo.
