Pooja Hegde has officially completed her shoot for Jana Nayagan, the much-anticipated Tamil political thriller that also marks Thalapathy Vijay’s final appearance on the big screen before his foray into politics.

The actress took to social media to share a candid photo from the film set and penned an emotional caption: “And with my today's shoot, it’s a wrap for me for Jana Nayagan.”

The film, directed by H. Vinoth, brings Pooja and Vijay back together after their successful collaboration on Beast, which featured the chartbuster “Arabic Kuthu.” Their on-screen chemistry had garnered massive fan appreciation, and the duo's reunion in Jana Nayagan has been widely celebrated by fans.

In a recent interview with Times of India, Pooja opened up about the bittersweet experience of working on Vijay’s final film. “I’m very excited because of course it’s a jodi that's kind of been a hit with Arabic Kuthu and Beast. And it's great working with him. He’s just so professional and such a nice person,” she shared.

“Of course, a part of me is sad that it's his last film because we love to watch his films, and I mean, I love his films. And more than anything, it should just be treated as a celebration.”

Announced in September 2024, Jana Nayagan boasts of a stellar ensemble cast that includes Bobby Deol, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Priyamani, and Shruti Haasan. The political thriller is shaping up to be a grand cinematic farewell for one of Tamil cinema’s most beloved stars.
