Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal's 'Mirzapur' trailer to release on June 20, all eyes set on the new season

The trailer for the much-awaited third season of 'Mirzapur' will release on June 20. The series, which has had two successful seasons in the past, boasts an ensemble star cast.

National award-winning actors Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Vijay Varma, Rasika Duggal, and Shweta Tripathi will reprise their roles in 'Mirzapur 3.'

The story was set in the northern Indian badlands, and it is a tale of vengeance, ambition, and power.

Mirzapur was created by Karan Anshuman and Puneet Krishna. It has been directed by Karan Anshuman, Gurmeet Singh, and Mihir Desai.

The story is about iron-fisted Akhandanand Tripathi (Pankaj Tripathi), who is a carpet exporter and the mafia don of Mirzapur.

His son, Munna (Divyendu), is an unworthy, power-hungry heir who will stop at nothing to inherit his father's legacy.

An incident at a wedding procession forces him to cross paths with Ramakant Pandit, an upstanding lawyer, and his sons, Guddu (Ali Fazal) and Bablu (Vikrant Massey). It actually becomes a game of ambition, power, and greed.

'Mirzapur' is one of the highest-rated Indian original dramas on Prime Video. 'Mirzapur 2' had an estimated 32.5 million viewers.

Sharing the poster and information about the trailer launch, Shweta Tripathi wrote: "Tareek hum set kiye, bhaukaal aap machaayenge!! #MirzapurOnPrime,ie ,officitrailer,ler June ko. तैयार?!"

It is one of the most-awaited series. Pankaj Tripathi is likely to make his first public appearance after the tragic death of his brother-in-law recently.

'Mirzapur' season 3 will stream on Amazon Prime starting July 5.
