Singer and actor Rishabh Tandon passed away on Tuesday, October 21 after suffering a heart attack at the age of 35. He was in Delhi to celebrate Diwali with his family.
Rishabh’s sudden passing has left the entertainment industry, his fans and family members in deep shock.
Richa Chadha has also expressed her shock following Rishabh’s death. She took to her Instagram Story and shared a screen recording of her and Ali Fazal’s video call session with Rishabh.
Alongside the video, she penned in the caption, “Hope you’re in better place Sundar.” She added, “Am in shock,” adding a broken heart emoji.
In the throwback video, which seems to be from around post-COVID, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal asked Rishabh Tandon about his well-being, to which he responded that he is doing well.
He also expressed his excitement talking to the couple and said, “Very nice to be, you know, sitting down with you all. It's a good way to catch up.” Richa and Ali agreed with the late singer.
Rishabh added, “I totally agree with you. We should catch up when, like Krishan said, when things are better. And after 14, there is the second dose. We generally do these jam sessions once in a while.”
The singer added, “So it will be good fun to have the whole group back again.
Who was Rishabh Tandon?
Best known by his stage name Faqeer, Rishabh Tandon was an actor, singer, and composer. A while back, Rishabh's personal life garnered media attention. His name was once associated with Sara Khan, after a picture of the actress wearing a sindoor went viral on social media, fueling marriage rumours. Later, Sara refuted the rumours.
