Dolly Singh just made history by winning the first ever Global Rings Award by Instagram.
The actor and digital creator, known for making us laugh with her instantly recognisable characters like ‘Raju ki Mummy’ and the ‘South Delhi girl’, has been named one of the 25 global recipients of Instagram’s 2025 Rings Award.
What makes it even more special? She’s the only Indian to receive the honour this year.
Dolly's journey has been nothing short of inspirational, from recording relatable sketches in her bedroom to taking centre stage on one of the largest creative stages in the world.
She captioned the post as, "Couldn’t go to receive my award so decided to drip in gold myself Grateful to my best team who is just as big a part of this! Reacting to the award, Dolly shared,“Being recognised with the Rings Award is so surreal that the feeling has still not sunk in. It’s definitely one of my career’s biggest moments yet, and a shiver goes down my spine every time I think about it.”
Although she couldn’t attend the event in person, Dolly celebrated the moment her way, with flair and gratitude.
She shared a post on Instagram, dressed in head-to-toe gold and beaming with pride, “Couldn’t go to receive my award so decided to drip in gold myself... Grateful to my best team who is just as big a part of this!”
