Nagarjuna reacts to backlash after his controversial statement about Kuberaa at its success bash: "It is everybody's film"

Within just days of its release, the film has scored a major box office victory and garnered critical acclaim.

Sekhar Kammula directorial Kuberaa's team including Nagarjuna, Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna attended the film's success party held in Hyderabad on June 22, Sunday. It was also graced by veteran actor Chiranjeevi.

Within just days of its release, the film has scored a major box office victory and garnered critical acclaim. The cast and crew united to celebrate the success, joined by enthusiastic fans who marked the occasion with joy.

During the event, upon being asked why he chose to do this character, Nagarjuna said, "When Sekhar Kammula came to me with the story, of course he narrated the entire film's story but all characters in the film revolve around Deepak's character. It seems to be the pivotal point."

Nagarjuna Akkineni earlier faced backlash over his previous statement saying, "I am the hero of "Kuberaa". Responding to the claims, the actor further clarified, "This film is Deepak's film, it is Deva's film, it is Sameera's film. This film is everybody's film but most importantly it is Sekhar Kammula's film."

During the event, Nagarjuna also praised Dhanush. “What can I say about Dhanush… he has won four National Awards. Whatever I say is an understatement,” he praised. “Even Chiranjeevi and I couldn’t recognize Dhanush during the shoot. The way he acted with his left hand was amazing!”

Helmed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa is a gripping action drama that delves into themes of revenge, greed, and redemption. Featuring standout performances by Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and others, the film has captivated audiences with its compelling narrative and intense screenplay.

Within three days of release in theatres, Kuberaa has grossed Rs 80 crores worldwide at the box office.
