Composer-filmmaker Palash Muchhal and Indian cricket player Smriti Mandhana are all set to tie the knot on November 23, 2025. The couple has kicked off their pre-wedding festivities with a vibrant Haldi ceremony.
Bollywood singer Palak Muchhal took to her Instagram Story and shared a glimpse into the Haldi ceremony held on November 21. In one photo, the singer appeared tearful while applying the wedding haldi to Palash.
She was seen posing with her lyricist husband, Mithoon, in another photo.
Following the Haldi ceremony, Palash and Smriti’s pre-wedding festivity also involves Sangeet. However, on November 23, the Baraat Swagat will be performed at 3.15 pm, Varmala at 4.30 pm, and Hast Milap at 5.15 pm, followed by dinner.

Who are Smriti Mandhana and Palash Mucchal?
Smriti Mandhana is a prominent figure in international women's cricket and one of India's most renowned female players. She is the vice-captain of the Indian women's national team and captains Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Women's Premier League (WPL).
She had also led them to the WPL title in the 2024 season. Smriti has notably bagged four ICC Awards, including Women's Cricketer of the Year in 2018 and 2021, and ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2018 and 2024.
Meanwhile, Palash Muchhal is a renowned music composer who has worked on several Bollywood productions. Born in 1995, Palash was raised in Indore and trained as a classical singer before pursuing a career in composition.
He bagged the big break in 2014 with the song Dishkiyaoon. He has contributed to movies like Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho and Sweety Weds NRI over the years. He is currently directing Raju Bajewala, which stars Avika Gor and Chandan Roy. In addition, he is the younger brother of the well-known singer Palak Muchhal.

The Haldi ceremony came after Palash made his engagement with Smriti official with a dreamy proposal video on social media.
