As key players in the K-pop landscape, Stray Kids and TWICE, under JYP Entertainment, have been pivotal in shaping the industry since their debut in 2018 and 2015, respectively. However, recent developments
have brought attention to the impending expiration of their contracts with the agency, raising questions about their future with JYP.

Reports on May 13, 2024, revealed that Hana Securities adjusted JYP Entertainment's target stock price due to limited artists' activities in the second quarter. Concerns arose as the contracts of Stray Kids, after seven years since their debut, and TWICE, approaching the end of their 10-year tenure, are nearing expiration. However, no official announcement regarding contract renewal has been made, leaving fans speculating about their next moves.

Amidst contract uncertainties, Stray Kids made headlines with the release of their digital single 'Lose My Breath', featuring American pop singer Charlie Puth on May 10. Anticipation mounts for their
upcoming Korean comeback scheduled for July 19, following their last mini-album 'ROCK-STAR'. Stray Kids recently made a striking debut at the Met Gala 2024, showcasing their impeccable style in attire by Tommy Hilfiger.

Similarly, TWICE delighted fans with their thirteenth mini-album 'With YOU-th' and the mesmerising music video for lead single 'ONE SPARK' released on February 23. Additionally, preparations are underway for their Japanese comeback with the fifth album 'DIVE', slated for release on July 17.

As negotiations for contract renewal loom, both groups continue to captivate audiences with their music and performances. Speculations persist regarding their potential renewal with JYP Entertainment or
potential ventures elsewhere, while the agency considers launching a new boy group after seven years in the second half of the year. The future remains uncertain, but fans eagerly await updates on the fate
