Superstar Shah Rukh Khan expressed profound emotions following the exuberant celebrations of Team India’s World Cup victory in Mumbai.

The Indian cricket squad clinched the T20 World Cup title against South Africa in Barbados last Saturday, encountering delays due to Hurricane Beryl before returning home on Thursday. Upon arrival, they met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence in New Delhi, reunited with their families, and proceeded to Mumbai for a grand parade along Marine Drive, culminating in a festive gathering at Wankhede Stadium.

During the jubilant procession, Captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli proudly displayed the T20 World Cup 2024 trophy to throngs of enthusiastic fans lining the route. Accompanying them on the celebratory bus were Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah and Board vice president Rajiv Shukla.

Several players, including Virat Kohli, Kuldeep Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal, draped themselves in the Tricolour, symbolising national pride throughout the Vijay Rath journey. Amidst the spirited scenes, some fans even perched on trees to catch a better glimpse of their cricketing heroes.

Shah Rukh Khan, besides being an internationally renowned actor, is also known for his ownership of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, adding to his multifaceted persona.

The celebrations marked not only a sporting triumph but also a moment of unity and pride for the nation, as Team India’s remarkable achievement resonated deeply with fans across the country.
