Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, were evacuated from a beach in Mykonos, Greece, due to an alleged bomb threat. Local news sources, Protothema and KNews, reported that the Mykonos Police received an email at 11 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, warning of explosive devices at four popular tourist spots on the island.

Among the threatened locations was Paraga Beach, where Matt, 53, and Luciana, 47, were at Santana beach club. A TikTok user, Elena Casablanca Nyamwaya Odul, who goes by Queen_Casablanca, witnessed the evacuation while dining nearby. She later shared footage of the couple waving as they left. Elena only learned of the threat after the evacuation, informed by locals.

Upon receiving the threat, police instructed each targeted venue to stop their music and evacuate immediately. Reports indicate that around 4,000 tourists were present in the Paraga Beach area at the time. Throughout the process, as per reports, Matt remained “composed and cooperative.”

Before the incident, Matt and Luciana had been enjoying a peaceful family vacation. The couple, married for 19 years, were seen relaxing by the sea on July 10. They strolled along the beach, with Luciana affectionately touching Matt’s back. Matt also took a swim in the Aegean Sea and played a game of catch. The pair share three daughters: Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 13, while Luciana has a daughter, Alexia, 24, from a previous marriage.

Mykonos holds a special place for Matt and Luciana. They were photographed at the same beach last July, a location connected to the seafood restaurant Tasos Taverna. Despite the scare, their love for the island remains evident.
