In a heartfelt interview with Neelesh Mishra, Chhabra opened up about various aspects of his life, including a previously strained relationship with Kriti Sanon.

In the world of cinema, where the glitter often overshadows the grit, the journey of Mukesh Chhabra stands as an example to both talent and tenacity. As the casting director turned director of 'Dil Bechara', Chhabra has woven narratives both on-screen and off, the most poignant being his recently mended fallout with actress Kriti Sanon.

In a heartfelt interview with Neelesh Mishra, Chhabra opened up about various aspects of his life, including a previously strained relationship with Kriti Sanon. With transparency and regret, he recounted, “Kriti is like my sister; I love her as much as I love my real sister. There was a situation where I lied about her. When she learnt about it, she was quite hurt. It took me a lot of years to fix that.”

Moreover, Chhabra's introspection didn't stop at his relationship with Sanon. He also delved into personal regrets of past arrogance that affected a long-term relationship, revealing his growth and the human side that often gets overshadowed by celebrity status.

Meanwhile, Chhabra continues to shape narratives, most recently through the casting of 'Amar Singh Chamkila', a project headlined by Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.

The film industry, often perceived as a realm of unattainable dreams, is also a space of relentless pursuit, as personified by Chhabra.

For the unversed, starting as a casting director, Mukesh Chhabra has had a significant impact on the film industry, with a keen eye for talent in movies like 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'PK.'

His directorial debut 'Dil Bechara', which starred Sushant Singh Rajput, was met with anticipation and emotion, especially as it became Sushant’s last film, released posthumously on Disney+ Hotstar during the pandemic.
