Mahavatar Narsimha is breaking new records

Animated film Mahavatar Narsimha is performing well at the box office, breaking all the previous records. The film has now officially surpassed the first 6-day collection of Pushpa: The Rise, KGF: Chapter 1 and Kantara.

Mahavatar Narsimha earned Rs 5 crore net in India in Hindi on Day 6 (Wednesday) and has officially surpassed some of the biggest blockbusters. The film is estimated to earn a total of Rs 37.25 Cr net and Rs 44.25 crore gross in India.

Previously, the film recorded its highest footfall on day 5 because of the discounted tickets. The film has also become the highest-grossing animated film in India.

The film is produced by Kleem Productions and Hombale Films and led by producers Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai.

The film explores the classic story of Prahlada and his despotic father Hiranyakashipu. Narsimha, Lord Vishnu's fourth avatar, arrives dramatically at the end of the story to restore dharma.

The multilingual release in five Indian languages and the screenplay, which was written by Jayapurna Das and Rudra Pratap Ghosh, have received a lot of praise for faithfully and magnificently bringing mythology to life.
