The actor, known for his long list of high-profile relationships, is currently dating 26-year-old model Vittoria Ceretti, whom he has been seeing since August 2023. Despite their public relationship, DiCaprio has always kept his personal life private and continues to prioritize his career and activism, expressing no intention to settle down in the traditional sense.
A source told Page Six, “Leo doesn’t feel the need to tie the knot to make things official in his eyes.” While the Titanic star reportedly “loves spending time with” Ceretti, the insider explained that he “just doesn’t envision himself as a husband.”
Recent engagement rumors surrounding Leonardo DiCaprio and Vittoria Ceretti were sparked when the model was seen wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. Fans quickly took to social media, speculating about the couple’s potential engagement.
Fans speculated and tweeted comments like, "He hit 50 and realized that it was finally time to settle down. lol." However, it was later clarified that the ring had been part of Ceretti’s collection since 2022.
DiCaprio’s romance with Vittoria Ceretti marks a shift from his well-known trend of dating women under 25. Prior to Ceretti, he had a brief fling with Gigi Hadid and a five-year relationship with Camila Morrone. Throughout his career, DiCaprio's relationships have been the subject of media attention, with past partners including Blake Lively, Gisele Bündchen, Bar Refaeli, and Nina Agdal.
Currently, Leo appears content with his relationship with Ceretti, as the couple was spotted enjoying their time together in St. Barts. However, marriage and starting a family don’t seem to be part of his future plans.
Despite his love life often becoming a topic of discussion and ridicule on social media, DiCaprio has remained unbothered. Reflecting on his career, he spoke about the challenges he faced, revealing that his role in This Boy's Life (1993), alongside Robert De Niro, had a significant impact on him. He credited the film for shaping his approach to acting and helping him navigate the complexities of the industry.
“I got into this industry at a very young age. I felt incredibly compelled to do this,” he told The Guardian. “I got the one opportunity doing This Boy’s Life with Robert De Niro. I watched his work, realized the caliber of actor that he was and said to myself: ‘I will never squander this opportunity.’”
“Since then, a lot of other stuff comes hand in hand with that. The complete loss of your private life. And you know what, a lot of people have to deal with a lot harsher things than having their private life be public knowledge. That’s just one of the byproducts.” he added.
