Kriti Kharbanda, who tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and actor Pulkit Samrat, has been sharing many beautiful pictures from her recently held wedding in Delhi.

In a series of new pictures, Kriti has shared pictures from her chooda ceremony that was held at her nani’s house, and she was wearing her mom’s shadi ka dupatta for it.

Kriti kept it simple in a mehendi green sari, which she wore with an off-the-shoulder blouse. She had tied her hair neatly in a pony, and for make-up, it was a simple red small bindi along with gold jewellery.

Kriti looked perfect and simple as she smiled and posed with her parents and brothers.

In her caption, she gave details of how like the traditional Punjabi shaadi, she and Pulkit were also not allowed to meet before the pheras and that she was happy to keep certain things ‘old school’.

“It was a magical morning. Riding high on emotions and my heart pounding coz pulkit and I weren’t allowed to meet or see each other before the pherA’s. While we did things our way, a few things were still old school :)

I wish he was a part of this moment too, but sigh, I loved the look on his face the first time he saw these pictures and was bowled over."

Kriti also chose the traditional Lal chooda for the ceremony instead of any fancy or trendy one.

“Laal chooda and traditional kaleera’s were a non negotiable too. The number of people who tried to convince me otherwise was insane. But I’m so glad I stuck to what I wanted to do and didn’t look back.”

Kriti and Pulkit tied the knot in Manesar on March 15, away from the glitz and glamour of Mumbai. Kriti has been sharing many pictures from their dreamy wedding. She had worn a pink lehenga for the wedding, as it was the favourite colour of Pulkit’s late mother.

She also shared pictures from their first Holi, which they spent as husband and wife.

Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat worked together in the 2018 film Veerey Ki Wedding.

Kriti Kharbanda made her acting debut with the Telugu movie 'Boni' in 2009, and a year later she was seen in a Kannada movie titled 'Chirru'. After working down south, Kriti made a shift to Bollywood and made her Hindi movie debut in 2016 with 'Raaz: Reboot'. She was seen opposite Rajkumar Rao in 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana'. Later, she worked in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phitr Se', Housefull 4 in 2019, and so on.
