K-Pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY is gearing up for a comeback with their new album, “TOO MUCH Part 1.”

On October 10, the group announced that the album will be released on November 4 at 6 p.m. KST.

Along with the official poster of the album in a post on Instagram, the caption read,  "All in. Always 𝑻𝑶𝑶 𝑴𝑼𝑪𝑯. Release on 2025. 11. 04 (TUE) 6PM (KST)."

This marks their return just six months after their previous release, Midnight Special, and roughly six months since their last full album, Day & Night.

FIFTY FIFTY debuted in November 2022 under ATTRAKT, with members Keena, Saena, Aran, and Sio. Their debut album, The Fifty, received critical acclaim worldwide and appeared on the Circle Album Chart, which tracks the 100 most popular albums based on physical sales.

The group gained global fame with their first comeback. On February 23, 2023, they released the hit single Cupid, which became a smash success.

However, on June 19, 2023, all four original members filed for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT. They cited several issues, including violations of contractual obligations, lack of transparency in financial settlements, and medical negligence during promotions. The members also applied for trademarks for the group name FIFTY FIFTY and their individual stage names.

Following this, ATTRAKT’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon accused an external partner, Ahn Sung-Il, CEO of creative content company The Givers, and Warner Music Korea of attempting to poach the group. The company claimed they had tried to convince the members to break their contracts and even threatened to shut down the group’s official fan community.

Despite the legal battle, ATTRAKT confirmed they would continue with a “second generation” of FIFTY FIFTY. Four new members joined Keena after auditions were held across Asia in the first half of 2024. The new lineup includes Chanelle, Yewon, Hana, and Athena.

The reformed group released their first song, Starry Night, on August 30, 2024, and are now set to release their upcoming album TOO MUCH Part 1 as their next major comeback.
