Kate Gosselin shares pic from hospital, urges fans to pray for her: "Emergencies don’t care about schedules"

Actress Kate Gosselin is facing a medical emergency and has asked her fans to pray for her as she shared a glimpse of her hospitalization on social media.

The 50-year-old reality star posted a photo on TikTok early Tuesday, September 30, showing herself lying in a hospital bed with an IV in her arm and a pulse oximeter on her finger. The dimly lit room set a serious tone for her message.

She wrote, “Please pray for me tonight and tomorrow. I will be fine, but I’m scared and would appreciate your prayers! Thanks, guys.” In the caption, she reassured fans not to worry, adding, “Emergencies don’t care about schedules! Please DONT worry about me! Please pray [instead]!” She promised to share a detailed update later, ending her post with, “Love you guys! I’ll be back as soon as I can!”

While she has not shared specifics about her current medical condition, Kate has previously spoken about some lasting issues following her sextuplet pregnancy. In a TikTok video posted on September 9, she explained the challenges she faced during her pregnancy. She said that her stomach had been pushed up to just about an inch, which was visible on an ultrasound, and that her bladder was compressed the entire time under the weight of her babies.

Fans responded quickly, sending messages of support and concern. Comments included, “Oh no! I don’t know what happened … but I hope you’ll be ok,” and “Sending love and positive energy! I hope you are okay! You are loved by so many.” Another fan wrote, “You are a strong woman who can do hard things! Praying to Jesus for your comfort and healing.”

Kate and her now ex-husband Jon Gosselin first welcomed twin girls Mady and Cara in 2000, and later had their sextuplets — Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel — in 2004. The twins are now 24, and the sextuplets are 21.

Kate’s post and her earlier video highlight the physical toll her multiple pregnancies have had on her, as she continues to navigate the challenges years later.
