Actress Karisma Kapoor, accompanied by her children Samaira and Kiaan, along with her sister Kareena Kapoor and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan, arrived in Delhi on June 22 to attend the prayer meet held in memory of her ex-husband, Sunjay Kapur.
Close friends and family of Sunjay Kapur gathered to pay their respects at the solemn ceremony held at the Taj Palace in Delhi on Sunday.
Karisma's ex-husband, businessman Sunjay Kapur, tragically passed away on June 12 while playing polo in London. His age was 53. He reportedly had a fatal heart attack after inadvertently ingesting a bee during a game, which caused a severe allergic reaction. He was not able to be revived despite prompt medical intervention.
In several paparazzi videos shared on Instagram, Karisma was seen arriving at the Taj Hotel along with her children, Samaira and Kiaan. Kareena and Saif were also spotted arriving later, extending quiet support to Karisma during this deeply emotional time.
The prayer meet witnessed several guests paying homage to Sunjay. Kareena and Saif were present at the funeral, which had previously been held in Delhi on Thursday afternoon and included Karisma, Samaira, and Kiaan. During the final ceremonies, Karisma and her kids presented floral tributes.

The funeral's moving moments, including a distraught Kiaan crying and being consoled by his mother, were captured in pictures and videos that went viral on social media. Saif and Kareena, who were clearly upset, stood nearby and offered the bereaved family support and strength.
An official letter acknowledging Sunjay’s demise was signed by his mother Rani Surinder Kapur, his wife Priya Sachdev, and their children Safira and Azarias, along with Karisma and Sunjay’s children, Samaira and Kiaan, signifying a moment of unity amid the loss.
