A grand celebration of Indian cinema was held in London on May 11, 2025 as the historic Royal Albert Hall reverberated to the electric score of RRR at a live orchestral concert. And the event was a truly great one as film enthusiasts worldwide gathered to relive the magic of the silver-screen, this time through a trail of music, emotions and memories as they celebrated with their favourite stars from the film.
Director SS Rajamouli, megastars Jr NTR and Ram Charan, and Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravaani were showered with glorious applause. RRR’s score was given the orchestral treatment and the forceful, soaring strains and swooping strings elevated the evening into a both a visual and aural spectacle of which the fans were rabidly soaking up every powerful note.
But among all this, a video of Jr NTR has surfaced on the internet in which it sees the actor frowning for being hounded by fans for selfies. The clip led to speculation — though loyal followers were quick to explain the situation.
As per a user who shared the video, Jr NTR was not angry, but apparently was just trying to ensure that all remained safe and in place. I don’t know if you got what he was trying to say but here’s a truncated version: ‘I’ll give you the picture, so don’t rush it or create a mob down here, otherwise the guards will push you away. He was just trying to take care of them,” the fan said.
Being a sensible person, Jr NTR tried to sooth the tension by asking fans to be patient and not create ruckus. His coolheaded reply — which only his fans could love — endeared him to even more admirers.
In what added to the emotional high, Ram Charan had also earlier extended his birthday wishes to Jr NTR in public, leading to loud cheers and a hearty moment exchanged between the RRR coal-stars.
