Janhvi Kapoor paid a moving visit to the revered Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh on the anniversary of the birth of her late mother Sridevi.

During the spiritual visit, the actress was accompanied by her co-star Sidharth Malhotra from Param Sundari, transforming the event into a personal homage and an opportunity to engage with their fan base.

As the two actors made their way towards the temple, they filmed a light-hearted interaction for their audience. Walking side-by-side, Sidharth began, “Hello guys, abhi bas hum chal rahe Tirupati ki taraf, [We are walking towards Tirupati]” only to be promptly corrected by Janhvi, who smiled and interjected, “Tirumala ki taraf [towards Tirumala]”

Sidharth then shared his excitement at experiencing the pilgrimage for the first time, saying, “Main pehli baar yahan par aaya hu, Janhvi harr saal aati rehti hai aur iss baar mere Sundari mujhe yahan lekar aari hai [this is my first time here, Janhvi comes every year, and this time my Sundari has brought me here]"

Reflecting on their shared dedication to their craft, he added, “Hum log saari mehnat krte hai sara kaam krte hai, voh isliye krte hai taaki aaplogo ko humaara kaam pasand aaye aur voi hume pyaar milla hai humaare trailer ke saath, humaare gaano ke saath [we put in all the hard work and effort so that you enjoy our work, and we have received that love through your response to our trailer and our songs]"

The duo expressed their gratitude towards fans, thanking them for the overwhelming response to the film’s promotional material. With the release of Param Sundari still a fortnight away, Janhvi and Sidharth encouraged audiences to support the project, with Sidharth signing off cheerfully, “See you in the theatres.”

Being well-known for her intense devotion to Lord Venkateswara, Janhvi has established frequent temple visits as a way to commemorate important life events, such as birthdays, movie premieres, or family milestones. The visit this year was particularly noteworthy because it fell on her legendary mother's birthday, which gave the event an additional emotional depth.

In accordance with Tirumala's traditions, they later changed into traditional temple attire to offer prayers, even though the video featured them dressed comfortably and casually—Janhvi in a basic pink kurta and Sidharth in a clean white shirt.

A love story that cuts across national and cultural barriers is promised in Param Sundari, which is set against the stunning scenery of Kerala.

The trailer evokes an old-world romance reminiscent of classic Bollywood moments with its depiction of monsoon-soaked streets, tranquil backwater bike rides and centuries-old church architecture. The August 29 release combines drama, humour, and genuine emotion in equal measure.
