Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has disclosed that she was diagnosed with an unruptured brain aneurysm, which was discovered by chance during a routine MRI.
In the most recent teaser for Season 7 of The Kardashians, Kim is seen talking to her sister Kourtney about the health scare.
Although the doctors have reassured her that there is no imminent risk from the aneurysm, Kim found the diagnosis to be a wake-up call that caused her to consider the emotional burden she has been carrying for the past few years.
In the video, Kim tells Kourtney, "There is, like, this little aneurysm," to which her sister reacts in shock, "Whoa." What follows is an open and sincere discussion about relationships, stress, and the toll that celebrity can have in private.
Kim opens up about how her health had suffered during her marriage to musician Kanye West, now known as Ye.
She admits that the years of emotional turbulence may have left a lasting mark, saying she felt like she had “Stockholm Syndrome” while in the relationship.
She also revealed that her cirrhosis used to flare up during that period, underscoring just how deeply personal stress had affected her wellbeing.

The aneurysm was found during a routine MRI scan that was supposed to be a routine check-up but instead revealed something unexpected.
Kim was shaken by the incident, despite the fact that doctors have confirmed the condition is manageable. She has since discussed candidly the effects of years of stress, scrutiny, and emotional weariness on one's physical well-being.
As quoted by New York Times, medical experts say Kim’s case is not uncommon. Brigham and Women’s Hospital reports that around one in 50 people live with an unruptured brain aneurysm, often without symptoms. Most never require urgent treatment, but consistent monitoring is vital.
