Govinda’s wife Sunita Ahuja reacts to divorce rumours, declares 'Mera pati sirf mera hai'

Bollywood actor Govinda has recently sparked divorce rumours with his wife, Sunita Ahuja. Their lawyers have already debunked the reports, and now Sunita has also come forward to clarify the report.

Soon after Sunita and Govinda spotted celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with the paparazzi, she made it clear that no one can separate them. She claimed, ‘Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai’, and urged the fans not to believe in the rumours.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Sunita said, “Aaj itna close, close… agar kuch hota toh hum itne nazdeek hotey? (Today we are so close, so close… if something would have happened, would we have been so close?).”

Sunita further declared, “Koi nahi alag kar sakta hai. Ek picture tha na 'Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai' waise hi mera Govinda sirf mera hi hai aur kisi ka nahi hai. Jab tak hum moonh na khole tab tak aap please aap log koi bhi cheez mein na boliye (No one can separate us. There was a film, 'My husband is only mine', in any case, my Govinda is only mine and no one else's. Till the time we open our eyes, you people please don't say anything about it).”

Govinda and Sunita celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi at their home on Wednesday. Sunita wore a burgundy saree while Govinda chose a red kurta for the occasion. Their son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, was also present during the celebrations. The family shared sweets with photographers outside their residence.

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja tied the knot on March 11, 1987 and share two children: a daughter, Tina Ahuja, and a son, Yashvardhan.
