As the Celebrity MasterChef finale draws near, the competition is reaching new heights of intensity.

The remaining contestants are pulling out all the stops to secure a place in the final round. In the latest episode, the judges introduced an exciting challenge—cooking international street food, adding an extra layer of pressure to the competition.

The challenge saw the top six contestants paired up for the task. Gaurav Khanna teamed up with Tejasswi Prakash to create Indonesian cuisine, while Nikki Tamboli partnered with Faisu to prepare Dutch street food.

Archana Gautam and Rajiv Adatia worked together on British street food.

Adding a thrilling twist, the judges invited fans of the celebrity contestants to taste and vote for their favorite dishes. Each fan was given gold coins to award to the team whose dish impressed them the most.

When the votes were counted, Faisu and Nikki led with 27 points, while Tejasswi-Gaurav and Archana-Rajiv both scored 26 points. However, the final decision rested with the judges, who had their own golden coins, each worth 10 points, making the results even more unpredictable.

With both teams tied, Ranveer Brar held the deciding vote—and he chose Tejasswi and Gaurav,  securing their place as the first two finalists of Celebrity MasterChef.

The episode also featured a heartwarming surprise as Gaurav’s wife, Akanksha Chamola, visited the set.

During her appearance, she playfully remarked that thanks to Nikki, her husband wasn’t missing her much.

She also revealed her close friendship with Tejasswi from a previous project.

Fans of Tejasswi and Gaurav are ecstatic over their achievement and have been flooding social media with praise and congratulations. With the finale just around the corner, anticipation is at an all-time high!
