Singer Diljit Dosanjh, known for his soulful music and heartwarming gestures towards fans, once again won over hearts with a special act during a recent concert. Currently on his Dil-Luminati Tour across the UK, Diljit made a lasting impression on his audience in Manchester on Saturday by gifting a pair of shoes to a fan during his live performance. When he discovered that the fan was from Pakistan, the singer took a moment to share a heartfelt message about unity beyond political borders, drawing cheers from the crowd.

In a video circulating online, Diljit can be seen speaking about how borders and politics shouldn’t divide people, particularly those who share a common language and culture. He emphasized that his connection with his audience transcends such divides, as music unites all.

“Hindustan, Pakistan, sade layi sara ek hi hai (Be it India or Pakistan, it is one for me). Punjabiyan de dilan ich sabde layi pyar ae (There is immense love for all in the hearts of every Punjabi). Ae sarhada, ae borderan, ae politicana ne bnaye hoye ne, par jo Punjabi maa bolne vale hai, vo chahe edr rehnde ne chahe odr rehn dene, sade sare sanjhe ne (These borders are made by politicians, but people who know Punjabi, whether from here or there, we are all the same). So jede mere desh to aye ne, India ton aye ne, ona nu vi swagat niga, te jede Pakistan ton aye ne, una nu vi swagat niga. (So people who have come from my country India, and those who have come from Pakistan, I welcome you all. Thank you ma'am),” he said, further emphasizing the power of music in bringing people together.

In another touching moment during the same show, Diljit surprised his fans by introducing his family on stage for the first time ever. He was seen bowing in front of a woman and then embracing her warmly, telling the audience, "By the way, this is my mom." The emotional moment brought his mother to tears as he hugged her again. Diljit then introduced his sister, shaking hands with her and adding, “She is my sister. My family has come here today.” The crowd responded with applause as the singer shared this personal side of his life.

After wrapping up his international performances, Diljit will soon be heading back to India for the next leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour. The Indian tour will kick off on October 26 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, followed by performances in cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati.

In addition to his music tour, Diljit recently announced his role in the upcoming sequel, Border 2, alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The movie is expected to begin filming in November and will be set against the backdrop of the Battle of Longewala.
