Devoleena Bhattacharjee takes legal action against trolls who targets her 7-month-old son for his skin tone, seeks cyber police help

Television actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee continues to receive social media trolls targeting her seven-month-old son Joy. However, this time she didn’t sit back and has decided to take legal action against the person.

Devoleena took to her Instagram Story and shared a series of screenshots of the social media accounts of trolls and their derogatory comments on her son’s pictures. She also shared the screenshot of the comments and the trolls with the Indian Cyber Police to seek help.

Besides this, the TV actor also shared a screenshot of the conversation with the Cyber police on her Instagram Story. She penned in the caption, “Lets heal and treat them the way they deserve. To troll a seven-month-old for the complexion and interfaith marriage. Request you all to share the screenshots of any trolls and their profile in my dm. Will lodge an official complaint soon. Thank you Indian Cyber Police for the quick response.”

However, Devoleena continued slamming the trolls on her social media and unveiled the identity of the person. She shared the profile of the troll and wrote, “Many of you deleted your filthy accounts. Even that Rana I guess. Couldn't find her account. If any of you can send her profile to me it would be great. Baaki sab intezaar main baitho. Par bhago mat. Kitna bhagoge kaha take bhagoge. Karma yad rakhna (The rest of you wait. Don't run. How long will you run? Remember karma).”

Soon after the complaint to the Indian Cyber Police, the troll apologised to Devoleena for hurting her sentiments with the derogatory comments about her son. She shared the screenshot of the apology and penned, “Well Pinak. You hurt a mother by such distasteful words/comments. Thank you @indiancyberpolice really really means a lot to me and many like me who go through this harassment almost everyday. This really need to stop.”

For the unversed, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Bigg Boss fame actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee tied the knot with Shanwaz Shaikh in 2022. The couple welcomed their baby Joy in 2024.
