Devoleena Bhattacharjee slams trolls for commenting on her son Joy's skin colour; calls them "low life"

Never one to remain silent, Devoleena quickly exposed the hate by tagging the trolls as "low lives" and posting screenshots of their profiles.

Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, known for Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Bigg Boss stint, recently slammed several social media users for trolling her 7-month-old son based on his skin colour.

Devoleena recently celebrated her son Joy's seventh-month milestone on Instagram by posting a number of adorable photos of herself holding her son in her arms and beaming with happiness.

She accompanied the adorable snaps with a heartfelt note dedicated to her little one. “7 months of holding my heart outside my body… From those tiny fingers wrapping around mine to sleepless nights filled with snuggles — every moment has been pure magic. You’ve turned my world into a soft, beautiful chaos I never want to escape from. Here’s to growing together, one giggle, one cuddle, one milestone at a time. You, my little love, are my greatest journey."

However, some social media users made racist remarks about her son Joy's skin tone shortly after Devoleena shared the post, implying that he inherited it from his father, Shanwaz Shaikh.

Never one to remain silent, Devoleena quickly exposed the hate by tagging the trolls as "low lives" and posting screenshots of their profiles.

In one screenshot, she highlighted a particularly vile comment where someone called her son a “little terrorist,” responding with biting sarcasm. “Ye hai so-called musician. And yaa doggo enthusiast. Bhagwan inse jude sabhi musicians ka bhala karein and dogs salamat rahe. Ye apne apko tag mention nahi karne dete par dusro ke posts par apni low life ki manasikata bakhoobi darshate hai.."

Devoleena criticised another user for their hateful comment in the following screenshot, calling them a disgrace to humanity and asking how someone could be so toxic towards a defenceless child. “Yeh Engineer hai Delhi se. Kis cheez ki engineer yeh toh yehi jaane. Itne paise kharch kar k engineer banne k baad bhi zindagi aur soch dono nahi sudhar paayee bechari. Inn jaise agar engineer hai toh samajh jaao bhavishya kis disha jaa rahi hai."

Devoleena tied the knot to Shanwaz Shaikh in 2022 and the couple welcomed their baby baby Joy in 2024.
