Coolie actor Soubin Shahir expresses gratitude as he shares pic with Aamir Khan from set: "Cinema is beyond just dreaming"

Malayalam actor Soubin Shahir, who was recently seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s high-octane action-drama Coolie, took to social media on Sunday to share a series of behind-the-scenes pictures with legendary actors Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan from the film’s sets.

In addition to the photos, Soubin, who played dock manager Dayal in the film, included a heartfelt note thanking everyone for their positive reaction to his performance.

He wrote, “Sometimes, cinema is beyond just dreaming. Thank you all for your love & kind words. Dayal will always be special. Coolie will always remain very close to my heart. Much love to all.”

In one of the pictures he shared, he is seen smiling alongside Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan, while in another, director Lokesh Kanagaraj joins the group.

The upbeat song, which is sung by Suhashini and composed by Anirudh Ravichander, honours Italian actress Monica Bellucci and has already gained a lot of attention.

Rajinikanth plays a former labour union leader in Coolie who sets out on a quest for vengeance after his friend is brutally murdered. In addition to him, the ensemble cast of the movie includes important roles for Nagarjuna, Pooja Hegde, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj.

Coolie is the seventh film that Lokesh Kanagaraj has directed. Following a consistent weekday run, the movie had a spectacular second weekend comeback, reiterating Rajinikanth's unrivalled box office dominance.

Filled with high-octane action and his signature screen presence, the movie has soared past Rs 250 crore in India in just 11 days.
