Despite six members currently serving in the military, BTS made an unexpected 'appearance' at the Glastonbury Festival, thanks to their past collaborators, the rock band Coldplay. This unique moment unfolded during Coldplay's performance of their joint track, My Universe.
Coldplay's set at the Glastonbury Festival took a heartwarming turn when Chris Martin, the band's lead singer, surprised the audience by greeting them in Korean and introducing BTS.
“Though they are in the army right now, we are gonna sing all the way to Korea," Martin announced before launching into My Universe, the collaboration between BTS and Coldplay. As BTS's verses played in the background, Martin energised the crowd, who sang along enthusiastically.

“To my brothers in BTS, we are sending so much love," Martin added, making the performance even more special for the ARMYs (BTS fans) in attendance. This memorable moment allowed fans to feel connected to BTS despite their current hiatus due to military service.
