BTS’ Jin teases music video for solo album Happy's main track Running Wild - watch

BTS' Jin is gearing up to drop his highly anticipated debut solo album, Happy.

BTS' Jin is all set to release his debut solo album titled Happy, which will be releasing on November 15, 2024. Ahead of the album's release, the music video teaser for the title track Running Wild dropped, adding to the excitement.

The teaser offers a sneak peek into Jin’s creative direction for his solo debut. The short clip begins with Jin taking his dog on a car ride, symbolising freedom and companionship. The scene then shifts to Jin overlooking a swimming pool, conveying a sense of introspection and tranquility. As the tempo of the song rises, Jin can be seen making eye contact with his pet and running on the road like a free bird, embodying the essence of liberation and carefree spirit.

In addition to Running Wild, the album Happy includes a pre-release track, I’ll Be There, the music video of which has already been unveiled. Jin has personally designed and painted the album covers, adding a unique and intimate touch to the project. The album consists of a total of six songs: Running Wild, I’ll Be There, Another Level, Until It Reaches You, Heart on the Window, and In Yearning/Longing.

Heart on the Window features a collaboration with Wendy of Red Velvet.

To celebrate the release, Jin has announced a special fan event titled Merry Run Around. A total of 50 lucky fans will be invited to a private meet and greet at Lotte World Adventure Carousel on November 24, 2024.

Jin made his official solo debut with the single The Astronaut in 2022. Following his discharge from the military on June 13, 2024, Jin made his first public appearance at FESTA 2024, celebrating BTS' 11th anniversary with fans at Jamsil Arena.

In addition to his music, Jin will be appearing in MBC's outdoor variety show The Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, marking his first television appearance post-military discharge. He has also starred in his solo variety show, RUN JIN, a spin-off from Run BTS in collaboration with BIGHIT Music, where he engages in various outdoor activities. Furthermore, Jin will guest-star in the variety show KIAN's Bizarre B&B, set to be released in 2025.
