BTS has consistently championed mental health awareness and self-love. By candidly sharing their personal battles, they have played a significant role in dismantling the stigmas surrounding these issues. Recently, Kim Seokjin, better known as Jin, the eldest member of the group, shared an impactful message with fans, urging them to prioritise self-care and maintain their composure in the face of life's chaos. ARMYs worldwide have resonated with this sentiment of the K-pop star.

Jin is set to feature in GQ Japan’s December issue, where he spoke at length about his professional journey. Sharing a message for his fans, Jin advised, “I hope you don’t lose your sense of calm. Even in busy times, I hope you don’t lose yourself and find a way to make yourself happy. That’s not selfish. At least, I want to do that, and I think I am doing that."

This heartfelt message quickly spread across social media, with one fan sharing it on X (formerly known as Twitter). Many fans expressed their appreciation for Jin’s wisdom and the solace it brought them.

One admirer commented, “Oh Jin, I can’t express how much strength and relief his words bring me. His mindset is extraordinary and his thoughts are put in a simple and beautiful way. I think everyone can relate to what he says. I hope my heart always finds the clarity to stay calm."

Another fan added, “Thank you, Jin. I really needed to hear this, especially with how hectic everything has been recently. I really needed someone to tell me this." A third fan praised, “Thank you for being the source of my happiness, Seokjin." Meanwhile, another noted, “He, with his words and actions, is comfort personified."

Jin was discharged from military service in June 2024. Since then, he has been active on variety shows and working on new music. Recently, Jin released an extended version of his song Super Tuna, originally debuted in 2021 on his birthday. Following this, the singer announced his first solo album, Happy, set to release on November 15. The album’s lead single, I’ll Be There, is already popular.
