Karan Johar backs Tere Ishq Mein

The anticipation for Tere Ishk Mein has grown significantly as the release date approaches.

The surprise pairing of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon contributes significantly to the charm. Even in the short sneak peeks thus far, their chemistry has moved viewers who are already cheering them on.

Kriti recently performed at Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju's lavish wedding celebrations amid this growing curiosity. Her vivacious performance gave the evening a glamorous boost, and the events that followed only increased anticipation for her next movie.

Taking the stage afterwards, host Karan Johar couldn’t hold back his admiration and spoke glowingly about Tere Ishk Mein.

He described it as a film headed straight for blockbuster status, praising Kriti for delivering what he believes is the most powerful performance of her career. “I want everyone at this wedding to spread the word, it’s going to be a spectacular movie," he announced, sending a ripple of excitement through the gathering.

Tere Ishk Mein chronicles the passionate and intricate love tale of Shankar and Mukti, two individuals united by a bond that transcends all reasonable bounds. Their journey explores love, loss, regret, and the possibility of forgiveness in an honest manner.

Compared to the previous teasers, the new one offers a more nuanced emotional texture, allowing viewers to get a closer look at the story's inherent vulnerability.

Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav's thoughtful writing and Aanand L. Rai's storytelling, which is renowned for its authenticity and emotional depth, work wonderfully together to hint at a movie that wants to move rather than just amuse.

According to reports, the Central Board of Film Certification found no visual elements that needed alteration, allowing the film’s powerful romantic and action scenes to remain untouched.

Only one word in the dialogue required tweaking. Following this minor revision, the film was granted a U/A 16+ certificate on 24 November. Its approved runtime stands at 169.17 minutes — just shy of three hours.

Presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow, and backed by producers Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Tere Ishk Mein brings together an exceptional creative team. With Aanand L Rai directing, A.R. Rahman composing, and Irshad Kamil penning the lyrics, the film is set for a worldwide release in Hindi and Tamil on 28 November.
