Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s Tere Ishk Mein has been drawing steady attention ever since it was announced, and with its release inching closer on November 28, the film has now cleared an important milestone. The latest update reveals that the movie has officially received its censor certificate.
As reported by Times of India, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film without asking for any visual cuts. All the intense action sequences and the passionate romantic moments remain untouched. Only one dialogue—featuring a single word—was modified.
With that change in place, Tere Ishk Mein was granted a U/A 16+ rating on November 24. The certificate also mentions a total runtime of 169.17 minutes, which comes to 2 hours, 49 minutes, and 17 seconds.
A report by Bollywood Hungama adds that apart from the altered word, the makers were instructed to include an anti-smoking disclaimer and to blur a liquor brand’s name seen in the film. No other changes were requested, making it clear that the core intensity of the story remains exactly as envisioned by the creators.
The trailer of Tere Ishk Mein set the tone for a raw, deeply emotional love story—one that dives into passion, betrayal, longing, heartbreak, and personal transformation. It gave audiences a glimpse into a darker, more complex world than what the teaser and songs had previously hinted at.
