Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, wished her husband Nupur Shikhare a very happy 40th birthday today, October 17.

She took to Instagram to share a series of adorable pictures of Nupur, accompanied by a heartfelt caption, “Happy 40th birthday, my love. I think you know how much I love you but maybe not how much you inspire me. I am in awe of you.”

Adding a playful note, she wrote, “The Gahfoooor track is missing from the post, which actually plays a very significant role in the symbolic representation of what life with you looks like… but I’m not very Instagram savvy. So sing it in your head while you swipe through.”

Earlier this year, in January, the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary with a sweet social media post that read, “Happy Anniversary, my love.”

Speaking about her relationship with Rodrigo Canelas in the past, Ira had shared, “At first, I kept questioning whether I should pursue this relationship because I wasn’t in a good mental space. I wondered if I could be the partner I aspired to be and if it was fair to involve him in my struggles. I went back and forth, had lengthy discussions with my best friend, and ultimately chose to be transparent. So I called him and expressed everything I was feeling. He simply replied, ‘I’m an adult—I can choose for myself if I want to handle your situation or not.’ That’s when I felt ready to move ahead.”

Ira and Nupur, who got married in January 2024, have always been open about their relationship. Their social media frequently showcases them supporting each other through various phases of life, from fitness routines and travel adventures to everyday fun and moments of joy.
